Moller's Omega-3 Forte is a 1: 3 blend of high quality cod and fish oil. There are two types of fish oils, those derived from fish liver, such as cod liver oil and those derived from their flesh. All fish oils are rich in vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids of the omega - 3 group.
Omega 3 fatty acids belong to beneficial polyunsaturated fats and are divided into two categories, alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is found naturally in plant foods, such as linseed and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), contained in fish. Α-linolenic acid (ALA) is converted into EPA and DHA in the body, while EPA and DHA are readily absorbed by the body from the foods they contain them. *
DHA and EPA help maintain normal blood triglyceride levels (intake of 2000 mg from adults only), normal blood pressure (intake of 3000 mg from adults only), and normal heart function. DHA helps maintain normal brain function and vision. *
Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system as well as the nervous and muscular systems. In addition, it contributes to better absorption of calcium and phosphorus by the body, thereby helping to normal bone and tooth health. *
Norwegian Moller's fish oils are produced from wild fish and not from aquaculture and are in the form of non-synthetic natural triglycerides for high absorption by the body (up to 98%). They are processed within 24 hours of the catch. They are supplements of high quality and purity, free from heavy metals and toxic substances such as mercury, in accordance with European legislation. In addition, their production and packaging in a nitrogen atmosphere protects them from photochemical oxidation.
The company was strengthened for its modernization within the framework of the OP Digital Convergence and the Attica Regional Development Plan. The project was co-financed by Greece and the European Union.
